About Sam: Sam is a gentle giant with a heart as big as he is. Kind, empathetic, and comforting, he brings calm and reassurance to everyone who works with him. When he’s not supporting students, you’ll likely find him enjoying a peaceful nap in the sunshine. His broad, steady movement creates a wonderfully grounding ride.
Fun Fact: Sam grows the softest and fluffiest coat in the winter and is especially good at giving hugs!
Horsey Hoofnote: Draft horses are thusly named because the word “draft” means to pull or draw heavy loads. These powerful horses were bred specifically for pulling plows, wagons, logs, and heavy farm equipment.
