Herd Hero: Phil & Sally Huxtable, honoring the life and memory of their daughter, Sarah.
About Remmy: Remmy (short for Remington) is the sweetest gentle giant you’ll ever meet. He enjoys peaceful walks around the property and brings a beautifully rhythmic, balanced stride to every ride. His steady tempo and kind demeanor make him a calming, dependable partner for his riders. Though one of the youngest horses in our herd, Remmy carries himself with wisdom well beyond his years.
Fun Fact: Remmy’s favorite game is to touch his nose to objects to find hidden treats!
Horsey Hoofnote: Remmy is our tallest horse at 16 hands high. Horses are measured in hands because people originally used the width of their hand to measure height, and the method stuck! One hand equals 4 inches, and a horse’s height is measured from the ground to the top of the withers (the highest point of the shoulder).
