About Nando: Nando is a clever, fun-loving horse who adores obstacle courses, helping students with challenges, and a good grooming session. Lighthearted and full of personality, he is definitely the “class clown” of the herd! Our students learn how to direct his exceptional intelligence and creativity to the task at hand with consistent and decisive leadership. And his steady, reliable movement offers students confidence, balance, and support.
Fun Fact: Holidays are Nando’s favorite! As a horse who thrives in new environments, all the festive decor makes for a fun challenge–plus, he’s proud to strut his stuff with painted hooves to match!
Horsey Hoofnote: At first glance, Haflingers may appear palomino, but by breed standard, they’re always considered chestnut. Their light flaxen (blonde) mane and tail just give them that golden glow!
