Greystone Manor TRC Riding Program
Riding Lessons
All lessons are taught at Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center in Lancaster by riding instructors with special training in therapeutic riding. Riders are assisted by a leader and a person walking on each side. As riders become more independent and confident, fewer assistants are necessary.
Riding sessions are 6 weeks long. Lessons are semi-private, private or group. Sessions begin in March and end in December. Click HERE for additional information.

Clinics
Clinics are offered on select Saturday mornings throughout the year. The focus is on group activities and games as well as grooming, tacking, leading, and riding our horses. Riders must have participated at least one riding session before being eligible for the clinic. Click HERE for more information.
Summer Camp
Summer horsemanship camp is held during one week each summer. Camp is divided into two age groups—14 years old and younger and 15 years old and older—and is open to riders who have previously participated with Greystone Manor TRC. The youth camp is held in the morning and the adult camp is held in the evening. Activities include grooming, tacking, leading, learning basic horse care and behavior, and daily riding. Click HERE for more information.
Annual Horseshow
Each fall Greystone Manor TRC holds its annual horseshow. All riders who have participated in at least one session are eligible to ride. Each rider participates in a trail class and an equitation class. All riders earn ribbons. It is a day of smiles and fun as well as a fundraising opportunity as we have many sponsors for the event. The horseshow is the pinnacle of our year.
